This delightful and very comfortable ground floor detached bungalow is perfect for couples of any age wishing to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the countryside but with easy access to the variety of attractions in and around Norfolk.

Enter the cottage by the stable door into the spacious open plan sitting/dinning room and kitchen with its beamed ceiling and tiled floor.

The Kitchen area is very well equipped with built in units and the following appliances

  • Dishwasher
  • Fridge with small freezer compartment,
  • Free standing freezer
  • Microwave
  • Automatic washing machine /dryer,
  • Electric oven and hob & extractor fan.

There is a large cupboard where you will find cleaning and laundry equipment:

  • Iron
  • Ironing board
  • Vacuum cleaner
  • Cleaning accessories

The Sitting/Dinning room area has pictures and farming memorabilia of years gone by adorning the walls, which make an interesting focus as you and your companion relax in the two leather seated sofas. This room has a colour television and DVD player, a coffee table, dining table and four chairs.  (Chairs have just been re-upholstered and are no longer leather.)

Tourist and other interesting information on the local area are in a folder under the coffee table. French doors lead out to a path for access to your own patio where you can relax and enjoy a barbecue and admire the spectacular sunsets.

The Bedroom is beautifully decorated and drapes adorn the wall behind the King-size bed. Wheelchair access is on the left hand side as you face the bed. There are bedside lamps on pine chests each side of the bed and a radio alarm clock is provided in case you need an early morning call during your stay.

There is a built in wardrobe and a glass-topped dressing table, which has draws down one side, a separate mirror and upholstered stool. A hairdryer is provided for your convenience. There is a switch by the bed to operate the main ceiling lights. The large attractively tiled en-suite Bathroom is designed as a “wet room” for people who might be less mobile.

It has level floor access to the shower, a freestanding shower seat and full size bath with small handles on the bath sides, a toilet and wash hand basin. Grab handles are strategically placed in positions to aid assistance if needed.
